During the course there is space for interactive discussion, so please feel free to prepare questions. Problem cases / images you encounter in practise during your daily work can also be discussed during these days.

Day 1

- How to perform a comprehensive clinical assessment of a poorly performing horse – ‘reading the horse’
12.30 – 13.15 Practical
- Clinical assessment of a horse at rest, in hand, on the lunge and ridden
13.15 – 14.15 Lunch

14.15 – 15.15 Lecture
- Competition horses, performance and the Ridden Horse Pain Ethogram: how we can identify horses whose performance could be improved
15.15 – 17.30 Interactive video-based Case discussions
